Second phone line on your iPhone – buy DID number for your mobile Skype!

If you own an iPhone, you can get a second phone number and get free calls! Skype is available for the iPhone (it will also be soon coming to BlackBerry).

The only limitation of this VoIP application on the iPhone is: it is intended to only work over Wi-Fi and not 3G or GPRS or EDGE. Skype for iPhone will allow users to dial numbers from their iPhone address book.

Of course it will also allow free calls between Skype users. However, probably the best feature is incoming (virtual) number you can get on Skype!

You don’t actually need to purchase SkypeIN (a service from Skype that allows you have telephone numbers that ring on your Skype). Many alternative providers of VoIP services will allow you to have virtual (DID) numbers forwarded to Skype (for example: http://hottelecom.net or http://didlogic.com)

So how do you get a virtual number for your iPhone? It’s simple

1. First, you have to install Skype for iPhone.

2. Order a virtual number from didlogic.com and forward it to your Skype username.

3. When your virtual number is dialed, you will get an incoming call on your iPhone.

4. Answer the call and enjoy free incoming calls (wherever in the world you are, as long as you have WiFi) on your second iPhone line! You can take international numbers with you when you travel. Countries like China, Israel, Bulgaria, Poland, Czech Republic, Iran, Russia (Moscow and St.Petersburg DID numbers) and others are available on didlogic.com
